Signing of the GREEN×EXPO 2027 participation contract

On February 26, 2026, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg concluded the official participation contract for the GREEN×EXPO 2027 with the Japan Association for the International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama.

With this signature, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has become the first European country to confirm its participation in the event.

The International Horticultural Expo 2027 will coincide with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Luxembourg.

The contract was signed on the Luxembourg side by Ambassador Michel Leesch, following his appointment as Commissioner of Section.

Mr. Masato Komura, Secretary-General, and Mr. Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Commissioner of the Exhibition, signed on behalf of the Japanese Organiser.
