NTT Communications chooses LuxConnect to expand Tier-1 Global IP Network
NTT Communications, the world’s second largest carrier of internet traffic has announced that they will establish the new IP PoP in Luxembourg, one of the fastest growing markets for internet business in Europe. The new IP PoP will be set at LuxConnect’s DC2, a 21,000 square-metre, Tier IV facility.
LuxConnect is a private company owned by the Luxembourg State. It operates three Tier IV design data centres and the 4th data centre is intended to be opened in Q2 2015.
The role of Luxembourg is increasing as a trusted content magnet in the heart of Europe, a consequence of its very high-quality data centres, a favourable corporate environment and low-latency fiber routes to the major European peering hubs.
