The Luxembourg Embassy, 25 years in Tokyo (1987-2012)

On the 6th July 25 years ago, Crown Prince Henri of Luxembourg officially opened the Embassy of Luxembourg in Japan. It was then located in Roppongi.

The first Ambassador was Jean-Louis Wolzfeld.

Prince Henri has since acceded to the throne as Grand Duke Henri.

Ambassador Wolzfeld is presently Luxembourg's Ambassador in Rome.

The Embassy moved in 2003 to its present location in Ichigaya.

Ambassador Paul Steinmetz and his staff look forward to many more years of excellent bilateral relations and to further improvement of the lasting friendship between the people and governments of both countries.
