Marie Muller at the Tokyo Grand Slam
Luxembourg Sportswoman of the Year, Ms Marie Muller, who qualified 9th at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing and is currently 17th on the World Ranking List, put up a strong fight against Japanese judoka Chiho Kagaya in the -52 kg category at the Tokyo Grand Slam, but to the disappointment of her supporters, was eliminated due to a controversial decision by the referee.
Following Tokyo, Ms Muller will compete on 16 December at the Grand Prix of Qingdao.
The Ambassador and the staff of the Luxembourg Embassy send her their best wishes, also in view of the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London.
